Finally, some photos!

Who'd have thought it would take me 4 months to get my photos uploaded. I have moved house since the tour ended, so that is my excuse. To view the photos, you can either page down and click on the red, white and green outline of Italy or use the link below. Hopefully, one or both will work.

I'll warn you now, there are 365 photos, so you may want to look at one per day for the next year! 😁 Or, you could look at each days' photos, for the next 30 days, though some days barely have any, so you could do several days at a time. Or, you could just not bother at all. It's up to you at the end of the day.

Such has been my lethargy after moving house, that I've barely looked at next year's tour, the postponed European tour, Blink and You'll Miss It. But I hope to get working on it before Christmas, so keep an eye open for update emails (assuming you are subscribed) or for Facebook posts.

Thanks for you time.

Stats 'n' that

Regular readers will know I usually finish off a tour blog with some stats, so here they are. I should start by apologising for the delay. Logging in to write my photos post, I saw this post still said DRAFT. DOH! Maybe it should have said DAFT! Anyway, here they are.

The Stats

Ginny and I covered 4,439 miles.

Ginny used 81.42 gallons / 370.12 litres of fuel and returned an average of 54.81 miles per gallon / 12.06 miles per litre. The total cost of fuel, which incidentally, was cheaper than in UK, was £655.64, giving an average cost per mile of £0.15.

Ginny's best consumption figure was 62.43 mpg, her worst, 48.51 mpg. Not too shabby for a 6 cylinder, 1649cc, 150bhp, 350+kgs machine.

My living expenses, give or take a few quid, which included 26 hotels, meals/drinks and sightseeing costs, came to £1,840. I was away for 29 nights / 30 days.

I wasn't counting the beers this time but given the temperatures we experienced whilst away, 41.5 degrees on more than one occasion, it was easily  in excess of 1 per day. I consumed a fair amount of water too.

I shan't bore you with any more, you have probably already lost interest, so all that remains for me to say is, thanks for reading, I do hope you enjoyed the blog, we certainly enjoyed the trip, and I look forward to you all joining us on our next adventure, which is still awaiting confirmation but should be, the re-scheduled Blink and You'll Miss It European Tour. One more thing, look out for the photos post, where you can access more of the photos taken on this tour.

Ciao
